Yasmini Kedem is an accomplished educator, fine artist and counsellor with significant international exposure in visual arts.
Along with education in languages facilitation from the early childhood sector through to university. Kedem has considerable experience across art forms as varied as set and mask design, major painted glass installations, sculpture and mixed media exhibitions. These tools form the foundation for a quality framework which has been applied extensively for workshops which she has designed and delivered within the Reggio Emilio Philosophy within the education, health and visual arts sectors.
Multi-degreed at the postgraduate level in both the arts and education with a qualification in care and counselling Kedem demonstrates an acute understanding of the integration of theory and practice in the arts and education and its application in facilitating language.
Kedem integrates the use of traditional with cutting edge digital methods, stretching boundaries of contemporary art applied to the understanding of memory triggers as the stimulus for art, health and education.
Widely commissioned, Kedem has participated in over 52 exhibitions inclusive of community development programs and regional art grants.
